DANCE RESIDENCY PROGRAM

This program is geared towards instructing students of all ages and levels of dance. Our goal is to fulfill the vision we carry for cultivating young artists within our community. We believe that every child should have access and exposure to a high quality arts education because there is something inside each of them that is amazing, creative, powerful, and inspirational.  Every child may not pursue dance in the future as a professional career. However, each child will be able to walk away from our program with valuable tools, joyful experiences, and unique skills that can be applied to their everyday lives. All of our instructors are well equipped with extensive technical training in a diverse array of dance genres, and credited performance experience. They also hold several degrees within Dance Fine Arts & Dance Education.

Our Program Will Provide Students With:

 

  1. Diverse Dance Training & Strong Technique Classes

  3. Personal Exposure & Opportunities to gain experience

  4. Development of writing and public speaking skills

  5. Cultivation of creativity & innovative skills

SINGLE CLASS SESSION

$150 (45 minutes - 60 minutes)

FULL PACKAGE 1

Four Weeks

  • Technique Classes (Ballet, Modern, Jazz, African, or Hip Hop) 

  • Choreography & Composition Workshop

  • One student showcase/presentation

FULL PACKAGE 2

 

Half year residency: 4 - 6 Months

  • Technique Classes (Ballet, Modern, Jazz, African, Hip Hop) Dance styles will be varied across specific grades and/or classes

  • One student show ( Winter or Spring) 

  • One field study to see a professional show

  • Choreography & Composition 

  • One Mock Audition (Professional Skills Workshop)

  • Professional Performance Opportunities  (NYC Dance Parade or Six Flags Festival)

FULL PACKAGE 3

 

Full year residency: September - June 

  • Technique Classes (Ballet, Modern, Jazz, African, Hip Hop) Dance styles will be varied across specific grades and/or classes

  • Two student shows ( Winter & Spring) 

  • Two field studies to see professional shows

  • Choreography & Composition 

  • Two Mock Auditions (Professional Skills Workshop)

  • Professional Performance Opportunities  (NYC Dance Parade or Six Flags Festival)
